The next morning was quite a bit windier. I took another walk around the grounds and explored the ha ha, which is just a confusing term to describe a retaining wall that separates the pasture (where grazing animals might be) and the lawn around the house (where grazing animals should not be. So the lawn has a sharp dropoff of about 4 feet that keeps the animals out, but doesn't mess with the view. It looks great, but I can imagine it would be quite dangerous if you came upon it unexpectedly.
