Driving past Learmonth Airbase we stopped and checked out the Krait and Potshot memorial. It was from here the Kraft set off on its now famous raid on Singapore Harbour. Tulki Beach is part of a Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park. It is a campground for only 11 fully self contained vehicles. There is no Telstra setvice (maybe 1 bar at the top the the highest sand dune). The water is a stunning turquoise colour but there are high winds at the moment and it is quite cold. Wandered down the beach and discovered two Ospreys in a nest on the beach. The swimming and snorkeling here is supposed to be superb when the weather is right.Read more
