Hahndorf - Farm Barn

Lachlan had been a bit sad that he was missing his Year Two excursion to Oakvale Farm this year, so we planned a special day for the kids.

We did not tell the kids where we were going today, Lachlan didn’t cotton on to where we were at first, but Brax was straight onto it, he saw the signs as we drove in. Brax announced to Lachlan where we were and he was so excited he didn’t even want lunch ( which is not like Lachlan).

Being the middle of the week it was great, we had the place to ourselves, the kids held baby animals, milked a cow, bottle feed baby animals and hand fed the adult animals. It was stinking hot, but the kids couldn't contain their excitement running from animal to animal.

Lachlan loved holding the guinea pigs and noticed that they had some for sale, he really wanted one for the caravan. He argued that they were small and didn’t take up much room, he tried hard to win the argument, but we left empty handed ( maybe when we get back home).Okumaya devam et
