Penong and Port LeHunte Jetty

On the move towards the Nullarbor, first stop Penong.

We visited the windmill museum which has windmills from farms all over Australia, including Australia’s biggest windmill ‘Bruce’.

Then we headed out to the surf break Cactus. Brett has been waiting a long time to camp out here and surf this break.

On the way out to Cactus is Lake MacDonnell a PINK lake (yeay, it was pink this time). The photos of the lake remind me of Neapolitan ice cream.

The jetty near Cactus Beach, Port LeHunte Jetty was beautiful, we spent the afternoon there out of the wind.Read more
