Albany - Historic Whaling Station

The Historic Whaling Station at Albany was jam packed with history and things to see and do.

The kids were very excited to be visiting the center and counted down the hours until 9am when it opened.

It was the last operating Whaling Station in Australia and is very well preserved. We watched some whaling history movies in the old oil tankers, explored a whaling ship, saw some massive whale skeletons and the kids learnt all about our whaling history.Read more
