Seal Lion Adventures

As usual, the boys went out in the boat for a fish and the next thing we know they are sending us girls selfies with sea lions! Well this was some what acceptable as it meant they had found sea lions and could take us out to see them.

The next morning, we got the boat ready, wetsuits, snorkels and Go Pros and off we set to see and swim with the the sea lions.

When we pulled up at the island we felt a bit better about getting in the water with them as the sea lion tour boat was also there and there was already 20 people in the water swimming.

I was the first one in followed by Cassie. Lachlan had said he would get in as he did not want to regret it if he didn’t get in, Brax had said he was not getting in, but when I looked back he was in the water and patting a sea lion! We all had a blast they were so fun and playful, they kept coming up to us and doing somersaults in the water and through the air. They loved our boat and were very inquisitive with the anchor and engine. We swam and played with them for a good hour. We are looking forward to zipping out and seeing them again.Läs mer
