What a view from our camp, Mount Bruce.

The trains are great, at about 4pm the mining trains start to come past and run most of the night. The kids run out and signal for the driver to toot his horn, and he does every time. I think it took them a while to realise that all trains honk their horn to make sure there is no cars on the crossing as they go past. It is still very quite.

The kids are having a ball on the red dirt, upturning rocks and collecting lizards. It’s impossible at this point to keep them clean so there is no point trying. They are red, there clothes are red, their shoes are red, their sheets are red, even their hair has turned red 😂😂.Weiterlesen
