Middle Lagoon - The Dampier

Brett and Shaun were still chasing a mackerel, it was our last day so their alarm was set for a early fish, but the wind had other ideas. We woke up and it was blowing a gale, there was dust everywhere. We ended up having a quiet morning inside the van.

As the day went on the wind died off so the boys headed out in the boat and Kat and I took the kids to hit up the cafe for ice creams before heading down beach to cool off.

The boys didn’t end up getting their mackerel, but they did bring home some other nice new fish for us to try.Read more
