Ivanhoe Crossing - Buttons Crossing camp

    September 1, 2021 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

Found this ripper of a spot to camp on the other side of the Ivanhoe Crossing.

It was a bit of a mission to get in ( and out) but like always we managed and it was well worth the extra effort to be camped up in this magnificent spot. We even found a croc on the opposite side of the river bank. We are pretty sure she was only a fresh water croc, although we still made sure to stay well away from the edge, as salt water crocs also live in this river.Read more
