Oh no 😢, we broke down!

Pulling into Penong, the car just did not sound right. The next day, the poor Triton was being towed away.

The extra premium NRMA roadside cover that we got in February is paying off. We got the van towed out to Cactus and they are paying for us to stay here while the car gets fixed! However, I doubt this will make much of a dent in what we will have to pay to get the car fixed.

Update: it only took a week for them to get the car back to us and it was not to hefty. $1200 to get the mighty Triton on the road again. A few belts replaced in the engine mount and she is as good as new 👌.Read more
