Kakadu- Cahill’s Crossing

The crocodiles at Cahill’s crossing are very active and mean looking compared to the ones we had been seeing on the Daly River.

Today the crocs were hungry and we watched as they grabbed fish after fish. It was exciting to see. While we were there a lady was sitting on the edge of the water taking photos when a man yelled out “Lady sitting down, there is a crocodile right next to you”! Everyone turned to see, I think secretly hoping to see someone get eaten 😂. The silly woman didn’t even move, she just kept filming. Luckily for her, the croc didn’t attack.

It was stinking hot, not a whisper of wind, so after a cold shower to cool down and wash off the sweat, we all headed to Ubirr Rock for sunset. Our last sunset this trip with mum and dad ( nan and pop) 😢.Read more
