Adelaide River

I had heard of some good fossicking in Adelaide River, so we called in for a night! Although it was stinking hot (sweat running down my legs, back, neck, butt and boobs!) the fossicking was awesome, so we stayed another night to hit it up again in the morning.

We found amethyst and Smokey Quartz crystals, everyone found some beauties.

Luckily, the show-ground had a pool so we were able to cool down and wash all that sweat off.

While we were in town it was suggested that we check out Robin Falls. We headed out ready for a refreshing dip, unfortunately the pools were very stagnate and uninviting! Lucky the waterfall was running, so we were able to stand under the clean running water and cool ourselves down.Read more
