Lets go! Cape York here we come

    August 26, 2023 in Australia ⋅ 🌬 24 °C

After 3 long days of packing in the rain, we were ready to hit the road.

    First stop, Cooktown.

We found an amazing bush camp to base ourselves for a few days, but unfortunately the rain followed us 🙁. When we went to hit the sack, we discovered the tent had leaked! Lachie’s bedding was wet and we had a few pools of water under our beds. A quick mop up and then we were ready for bed.

Sun was predicted to shine for our day out at Cooktown, but it didn’t. It rained on and off all day, so we went back to sit in the camp kitchen and get dry!
