Cockatoo’s, Swim & The Carrington Hotel

We had a nice day at Scenic World and then had a swim and hot spa at the Katoomba Aquatic Centre courtesy or our fitness passport. We decided to do one more trip on the skyrail before it closed but it was too busy for our liking however we noticed a bunch of Sulfur Crested Cockatoo’s, we got some bread to feed them and they went crazy and flew in from every direction landing on our arms, shoulders and head. They were so tame and just sat on us even after all the food was gone……. What a great experience!
Then a cold beer at the iconic Carrington Hotel built in 1882. The hotel was like stepping back in time, it was extravagant.Leggi altro
