• Melbourne Day 1

    September 27 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

Brett is always getting to go away for work, so this time I tagged along.

Brett book an early flight on the Sunday, so we would have the day to do something’s together.

We arrived in Melbourne just after 10am, picked up the hire car and headed straight out to Brighton Beach to see the colourful bathing boxes.

Next up, famous croissants from LUNA! LUNA is founded by former aerodynamicist Kate Reid, Lune Croissanterie treats pastry-making with extreme precision.

Then it was time to check in to our hotel! Level 22 of the Crown with city views 😀.

Time to explore, we walked down to the water front and had a bevie before hitting up the DFOs. This was not really our scene, so many people! So we did a lap and headed back to get ready for dinner.

We decided to walk into the city, we were a bit late after arvo drinks and nibbles in the room and most restaurants kitchens were closed, lucky there is plenty of street food vendors open late into the night. We settled on Japanese. It was delicious. I conveniently found a donut shop that is open 24 hours and got my-self some breakfast for the morning.
