The Blue Eye, Albania

Only a 45-minute drive from Sarande is a water spring that has formed an incredible fluorescent blue feature up a mountain valley. We walked from the car park about 2km where the incredible blue water gushed out of the ground and created a full mountain stream from right there. Nothing can explain what this place looks like in real life. We’d planned to go swimming but the place was heavily signposted advising not to. So avoiding the cold plunge we were back to the car and heading for Gjirokaster.Læs mere
