Marlborough wine tasting

So lovely not to have to pack up & move on today.. woke to watch the sunrise as this coast line is where the sunrises 1st in the world for each new day, it was overcast so nothing to see ,after a walk down to explore the beach, breakfast then ready for our pick up & tour of 4 wineries here in Marlborough. The area doesn’t appear to be massive for the amount of wine produced & sold in 🇬🇧.1st vineyard Jackson winery, followed by Forrest, both giving great tastings & information, then on to a sparkling winery & finally Saint Clair where our tasting took place with a delicious lunch outside in the vineyard in the sunshine.. a lot of the wine we tasted is available in Waitrose.. and of course we bought some for a little tipple in the afternoon sunshine.. cloudy bay which the wine is named after & where we are staying is close by, as is Oyster bay & Brancott.. so lovely to see the area where so many wines we know come from.Читать далее
