Rarangi to Kaikoura

Fabulous drive through vineyards , mountain passes and coast road to Kaikoura.. stopped off to look at the seals basking in the sunshine along the coast road. Saw the narrow gauge railway & train. Beautiful shore line & then headed out to sea for whale watching. Super fast & comfy seats before stopping & we could get out on deck.. whale spotted though didn’t flip his tail to go back into the water, just slipped under the waves fast asleep, headed along the coast line & saw dolphins & the rare NZ dolphins with a dorsal fin like Mickey Mouse ears..saw seals & albatross too, only the 1 whale though.. just lovely to be out on the water looking at the coast line .. early supper sitting by the shore line at the pier hotel..Okumaya devam et
