Melbourne

Chilled day today after such a busy day yesterday, got up late, did some washing, & checked in on line with virgin Australia, bastards would t let us add another bag so had to phone customer services, all resolved now. Went shopping in Meyers , big department store similar to John Lewis, brought extra suit case. Then to Adidas for new trainers for me, then found RMWilliams .. great store,delicious smell of leather & quality as you walk in, made a little purchase to go with belts I have..it was hot 32 .. then hit the tourist tram around Melbourne seeing the sites, back to Flinders station & a quick free tram up to Lonsdale street where we are staying. Dinner tonight In hardware lane, very busy such a great vibe here, also so noisy , but so positive feel, kind of like Melbourne feels full of youth & excitement.. great dinner 20 yards from where we are staying.. tomorrow off to Adelaide.. current forecast 38 degrees 😵‍💫.. cricket is on so may be busy, but we are staying in Hahndorf just outside..Read more
