Byron Bay

Up to visit the Kola hospital and saw a few ready to be released and some kolas that due to injuries wouldn’t be .. lovely setting & a lovely old style Australian house in the grounds. 4 hr drive to Bryon bay, but slow traffic around Coffs harbour. Saw the big yellow banana, wasn’t that big.. long hot drive . Arrived at Bryon Bay, hotel lovely, all sleeping in 1 room so that should be interesting! Had a walk through the town, not as hippy as we had expected. Then to the beach , very windy ..,everyone sun bathing on the grass at the top. Few beers in the Shack bar , before we found a delicious Italian for supper, walked back to hotel & quick visit to the beach.. liking it here good vibeRead more
