Day 1 - Arrived at cottage in Arisaig

It took us roughly 3 hours 45 minutes to get from the east coast to the west driving through some wonderful highland views, although the weather is cloudy and wet it's still is very warm. Let's hope the weather picks up as the week goes on.

The new cottage could not be different to last week's, which was a very pretty traditional cottage with great views over Loch Leven. The new cottage does not look much from the outside but once inside wow! It's been modernised to a very high standard and gives us all we would expect from a home from home. Including lovely modern bathroom, conservatory, kitchen, walk in wardrobe, funky stair lights, heating and to top it off a 50" plasma with a full surround sound system.
