Lovely warm day so we visited the Isle of Rum to meet up with the local ranger who took us on a nature walk explaining the very varied wildlife on the island. It's a very special place for wildlife inLæs mere

RejsendeUnfortunately the ranger explain that the bodies of both golden eagles were discovered on the island. Having sent them to the mainland for analysis they think they had been attacked & killed by other eagles, most likely sea eagles which also inhabit the island.
