Day 1 - Orientation day

As we did not get to bed until 2:30 am we decided to walk around Split today to get a feel for the city before exploring further over the coming days.

Our house is situated in the old town so lots of narrow streets to explore as well as the Diocletian's Place being near by.

Walking eastward along the front we discovered the ferry port (which we will use to explore the islands off the coast) and the only sandy beach in Split, which as you can imagine was very busy.Leia mais
