Relaxing day

While most of our group went to Venice we had a lie in and decided to explore the village we are staying in, Nago. Having walked the narrow streets we discovered an old Roman road down to Torbole, after a mile or so down hill we discovered the pretty little town on the side of Lake Garda.

It was another hot day and so the breeze off the lake was welcome. Lake Garda is known for its wind hence the number of windsurfers on the water.

It was a bit of a climb back up the hill so we were glad to get back to the hotel for a beer and a swim in the pool.Read more
