We were due to be picked up at 8:20 but the taxi did not arrived until gone 9. Unfortunately the driver started out late due to a flat battery so got caught in the rush hour traffic.

Long day and we are ready for a good night's sleep. Breakfast at 6:30 am and back on the road at 7:30 am tomorrow 😴

Visit to Lazise

Today we were visiting various towns around Lake Garda. Our first stop was the town of Lazise, the Lazise comes from the Latin word 'Lacus' which means Village on the Lake'.
Visit to Sirmione, including boat trip

Sirmione is lovely but very busy. By walking along the front we did manage to avoid most of the crowds.
The boat trip took us out into the lake and showed us the town from a different angle.
