We are sitting on the patio drinking teas while we take in the view across to Loch Leven.
Lovely location and nice big well equipped cottage. Weather so far has been gloriously warm and sunny.

Day 2-Sunny beach & Marry Queen of Scots

It's been a lovely sunny and warm day again. We had planned to cycle around Loch Leven but there are apprently no cycle hire shops open on a Sunday. So we took to our feet and found a nice sandy beachWeiterlesen
Day 3 - First Beach

Day 3 - Sheltered Beach

We found our sheltered beach at Earlsferry, a little village further along the Fife coast. Although the weather had started to turn and so we only had intermittent sunshine but it was still warm outWeiterlesen
Day 4 - Sore Bottoms!

Another lovely warm day so we decided to hire some bikes to cycle around Loch Leven. Took us roughly 4 hours with stops for refreshments so we had sore bottoms by the end of it but really enjoyed theWeiterlesen
Day 5 - St. Andrews

We visited both the Castle and Cathedral. I climbed the town to get some great views of the town. As you might expect alot of things surround Golf so we ended up having a fish and chip lunch at theWeiterlesen

Some of us had to get in basket to keep it on the ground and then when given the word the rest of us had to run and jump in. Unfortunately this meant I could not photo the lift off itself.

It took 25 minutes or so to find somewhere suitable to land as most of the fields either had livestock or crops in them.

We were fortunate to be able have our ballon flight this evening particularly as it was cancelled on Tuesday and that on average there is a 80% chance of a flight being cancel due to the ScottishWeiterlesen
