after packing up camp....and leaving a tad late, we drove to this beach. there were a lot of big trees along the slope and some beautiful rocks. I couldn't find any petroglyphs but it looked like a spot where there could be some. the path along the beach was an elevated berm with a marsh on the one side...some birdies in there and on the other side a clump of wildflowers grasses and Roses that were in bloom. it was nice and protected behind the Roses and a beautiful smell. we ate lunch tucked in behind the rocks to stay out of the wind. on the walk back the sun came out and we watched an immature eagle eat something on the beach. a very nice quiet spot on this day.Read more
