Lovely little Peruvian restaurant

Whilst I was in Paracas I headed out for an evening meal to a place recommended on Tripadvisor. Most of the restaurants were on the touristy seafront; this one was a few blocks back. As I started walking there the streetlights disappeared, the roads became uneven and there were people and dogs sitting outside their houses. But everyone seemed very friendly.

As I arrived at the place indicated by Google Maps I wasn't even sure it was a restaurant. There was a chap there painting and as I arrived he ushered me in, put down his paints and put on a chef's hat.
