Not a hike to Quesera Beach

Playa Quesera is described as one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. It can only be reached by a long walk through Curu National Reserve. The girls were not keen, but at least Caitlin was placated by the thought of the nice beach at the end of the walk. Unfortunately, after paying for the entrance to the reserve, we discovered that Quesera beach was 'cerrado' - closed 😔. Just not possible, apparently (heavy rains may have had something to do with it, my Spanish wasn't good enough to find out). So instead a rather grumpy and fruitless walk through Curu Reserve.
