Stop 1 on the cruise to Australia! Pago Pago, American Samoa!

This was a super interesting stop for us because it is somewhere we didn’t know much about other than it’s a US territory.

We learned today that American Samoa agreed to the territory agreement with the US with the condition they handle all civil matters within their tribes, not within a US court system. It was truly a beautiful country. You could feel the pains of it being the first ever Disney cruise here, but the kindness of the people outweighed the stress of the excursion.

We went to a traditional ‘Ava ceremony today, it was super amazing to see and learn more about ceremonial moments!

We got back 2 hours late, i highly recommend in these areas using the cruise line excursion due to timing. You never know what can happen out here!Baca selengkapnya
