• Paris to Raims to Luximbourg to the Boat

    April 28 in France ⋅ ☀️ 64 °F

We left Paris in three big tour buses around 8:30AM. Monday morning traffic in Pars is horrendous. In addition to cars, busses and trucks, there are motorcycles driving around and between cars.

We drove toward Champagne region to city of Raim. We visited Notre-Dame de Reims. The cathedral was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was the traditional location for the coronation of the kings of France. It was built
    1211–1345.

Some of the best-known windows in the cathedral are modern. These are the three windows made by Marc Chagall.

We had an hour of free time after visit to Cathedral. The weather was incredible, so we went for a walk while most of the group went to eat lunch.

Back on the bus, we drove toward Luxembourg to visit American Military Cemetery. Very moving experience.

Back on the bus for the last leg of the bus trip to Trier to board our boat.
