    Arrival

    The flight on SW was uneventful, but when we arrives in Los Cabos and took a shuttle to the car rental place the fun started. We booked the car on website booking.com from Hertz. The sales clerk would not give me a car for the price I booked. He quoted three times more expensive.
    I told him goodbye and we took Uber to the resort.
    On the way to our resort we had to detour to pick up driver’s sister. Because of that the cost of the ride was almost twice the original price.
    Oh, well. The conversation was good.

    After we checked in, we took a local shuttle to the restaurant. The dinner was delicious.

    Day Two

    17. november 2024, Mexico ⋅ 🌬 64 °F

    After breakfast at the resort’s restaurant it was time to think what to do with the rental of the car.
    I checked the price at Alamo and it was pretty reasonable. So we took taxi (Uber is not allowed at this resort) to the center of Cabo San Lucas, had great tacos for lunch and picked up the car.

    New Place

    7. desember 2024, Mexico ⋅ ⛅ 79 °F

    On Saturday we checked out of the place we stayed for 3 weeks and drove to San Jose del Cabo. Checked into another resort, drove to rental car company, returned the car and walked back to the resort.
    This place is pretty old, but in a very good neighborhood with huge supermarket about 7-10 min walk. No need for the car.
    We are taking Uber to the beach in the morning and in the afternoon spending time by the very nice pool.    Les mer

    Back to Cabo San Lucas

    Now we have three days before our daughter with her husband and two grandkids come to Cabo. I rented three bedroom condo for all of us starting December 24. But before that we need something smaller and cheaper. We are staying in a nice hotel right in the center of everything with lots of excellent restaurants.

    On December 24 after very troublesome flights from Greenville, SC to Cabo, our kids arrived.
    We met them and settled in the condo.
    December 27. Lara, Igor, Joshua and I went zip lining for the whole day. Seven zip lines, jumping off the cliff, crossing ravine on the rope, mountain climbing and then off road driving for 30 min. I do not know how I did all of these, but I did. Lots of hard work and fun, somewhat scary.

    Then we went on a private yacht for whale watching. That was very nice.

    On December 5th we said goodby to our kids and moved to a small AirBnb unit.

    For the last week in Cabo we are staying in a fantastic resort Garza Blanca. The weather is perfect, but Saturday we are flying home.
