Stonehenge and flying home

It’s the end of an amazing trip. I’ve enjoyed sharing it with Cassie so much as her sense of wonder at all the things from trees, buildings and people were equal or more than mine. Her ability to tough out the tough situations while absorbing the good in everything around her is one of her many superpowers.

We’re happy to be going home to our loved ones, but sad that our trip has come to an end. The people are warm and welcoming and so willing to share a cup of tea and their homes. They are interested in we Americans in a caring way often saying “we’re rooting for you” and you’re our “closest ally”. That is so nice to hear and quite uplifting.

Thank you England for your charm and your beauty and for allowing us to walk through your backyards, cow fields, historic sights, streets and countryside unabated (if on designated paths) through kissing gates galore.Read more
