Santiago - Hotel Fundador

What a welcome…actually it seems to be a protest regarding the lack of housing rather than a protest of our visit!

After visiting really beautiful places ,like Punto Natales and Puerto Arenas, Santiago is initially disappointing, presenting as being a very ‘westernised’ city…I accept this is unfair based on a taxi drive from the airport so we will see! Watch this space…

We have arrived at the Hotel Fundador after a journey, ship to hotel, of ten hours and we are…tired! So after a ‘snack’ of Chorrillana and a Margarita we collapsed in our bed…

The population of Chile is 18,000,000 and 8,000,000 live in Santiago…think on it!Read more
