Ottawa to Montreal

Our spate of fantastic weather ended last night. Rain overnight, easing off by mid-day for us to get into the station without any trouble. Richard was a gem and gave us an extra hour at the apartment and drove us down to the station.
Four hour journey to Montreal and short taxi tip to our apartment. It was raining quite heavily when we arrived and we decided not to go out today for groceries but to stay dry. Neil has hurt his back getting the suitcases out of the taxi. Best to rest. Hope all is OK tomorrow.
The apartment is in a great location in the middle of the downtown area in a block of apartments. It’s compact and quite nice but not as well equipped as we’ve become used to and also not quite as clean as I would have preferred. That has been rectified with a bit of elbow grease.Leer más
