Wandering Anchorage

Got a lift into downtown Anchorage to explore Alaska’s ‘big’ city. For Alaska, it is the biggest city in Alaska which I guess is not saying a great deal as the population of the entire state is only around 742,000.
Anchorage has the feel of a country town. Not a large country town despite the fact that is has a few tall buildings but a sprawled out town with wide streets and definitely no traffic issues.
Loved the gardens in their little parks and their use of veggies to give different foliage colours amongst the flowers.
