Central Park in Sunshine

Although Central Park was stunning in the snow, because it was snowing so heavily we were not able to fully explore the park. Today we decided to return, starting at the memorial to John Lennon again, wandering around the lake in brilliant, and through the Shakespeare Garden to the Belvedere Castle. From there we walked to the east side of the garden had a warm cider at the Central Park Boathouse, found the Alice in Wonderland Statue and on to a subway station in the south west corner. So nice that the city has such a grand park at its centre- the lungs off New York.Leia mais
