Alcatraz

Today we boarded the 10.30am ferry to Alcatraz. We followed the audio cell house tour and learned all about prison life, some of the notorious inmates including Al Capone. Later we had lunch in the Hard Rock Cafe and had another wander along Pier 39, bought an ice cream, sat for a while and then caught the bus back to apartment.Read more
