Tegenungan village

To complement its waterfall, the villages provide the usual Bali tourist attractions: Plenty of kitchy shops and food stalls selling nearly identical goods - it’s a miracle that they can all survive - and prepared heart frames, bird’s nests, viewing platforms, etc. for instagramming. The high village has a swing as well, which almost tempted us but not quite - maybe next time! There was also an industrious fellow at the very bottom of the falls offering funny signs that you could borrow to take a picture with - payment by donation. Nearby there was a archway covered with multi-lingual salutation signs, and last but not least we finally caved and tried some delicious corn on the cob from a friendly shopkeeper - Warung Bamboo if memory serves.Read more
