Domestic break - time to chill!

We are all so happy to spend a super chilled out week recovering from the stress of all this holidaymaking! (Hope that Davy and Meg's teachers are not reading today's blog...!) So far we have discovered Flemington Library - an absolute godsend, along with the kids' newfound interest in reading - signed them up for weekly NinjaGym at Twisters Gymnastics, wandered droolingly down Lygon Street trying to decide where to eat next time (good thing we already had reservations!) scored six consecutive frisbee passes (and catches!) together in the park across the street, finished conjugating Davy's 5P verbs for the year, tried to wake everyone up at 3am to see the Aurora Australis (they no-showed, glad we didn't waste the sleep!), and spent some quiet moments reconnecting with old friends. The mid-autumn weather is holding - we've been spoiled by heaps of sunshine, notwithstanding the warnings of incessant, oppressive gray rain - and are looking forward to discovering more about this funky city in the coming weeks!Læs mere
