Labatt Point - Sea Lions

Gorgeous ‘overlook’ spot with edge to edge water and interesting rocks making a pretty although well camouflaged sea lion habitat. Ocean rocks also making an unusual variation of waves and swell.
But alas no whales yet.
We are a bit body tired of the physical effort of setting up and packing down back to back, being office worker city slickers. It was good to have a quieter day.

The kids would probs only rate it 1 star though. The gravel was more interesting and the proximity of the platform to the cliff made Noa on high alert especially with climbing oriented kids! 🧗‍♀️Read more
