D3 to Gålå

A full, full day! Nice hike, overcast with a bit of drizzle on and off. The second half was rather (extremely) boggy, like walking on a sponge! The on photo with the white moss is Reindeer Moss. They find it in the winter to eat.
We arrived, had 40 mi to shower, had a 4:30 dinner and then went to see the famous play Peer Gynt. It is in its 35 year on only offered select days between August 1-10 (see video) didn’t understand the language but we got the cliff notes on the show, the stage was awesome! It was a bit long- 3 hrs plus and intermission. But glad I saw it. (Also cold, lower 50’s. Everyone was in there best sweaters!)Read more
