Angkor Wat

Exploring Angkor Wat. We explored the grounds of Angkor Wat with our wonderful guide Mae telling us the ancient stories depicted in the engravings around the hallways and translating some of the ancient Khmer texts for us. (He was fluent in Khmer, English, French and a bit of Ancient Khmer) It’s so amazing to see such an impressive temple from the 11th century so well restored.
