Pagodas and incense

Today we visited the Thien Mu Pagoda, which is a famous Buddhist monastery. A former monk from this monastery, in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the treatment of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese regime.

We then stopped off at a very Insta worthy street where all the shops make incense sticks. Ariah learned the technique of rolling lemongrass incense onto a bamboo stick.Читать далее
