Poseidon Temple, Sunset tour

Today we had a quiet morning because Mama was still not feeling well. In the afternoon we had a sunset tour to the Temple Of Poseidon.

Poseidon is the god of the sea. He was given this temple because of its location next to the sea.

At 4pm we met with our tour guide, Iria and the bus driver was called Sotiris. We stopped at a viewing point. It was at a waterfall, where the water was really dirty but people were still swimming in it.

We stopped at a beach. I had a swim and the water was so salty, you could easily float. After the swim we had dinner there. I had a nice burger with pineapple sauce.

We then went to the Temple of Poseidon and our tour guides gave us the challenge of finding Lord Byron's name carved into the temple. Lots of people had already carved their name in. This is now banned, but not before the whole thing was covered in names.

I found the Lord Byron name at the temple of Poseidon. To be honest I did not find it. Someone else showed it to me. It was on one of the columns on a white bit.

We headed back before it closed and everyone went out after the sunset.

We headed back home and went to sleep. It was really late when we went to sleep.Read more
