    From Kathmandu to Pokhara

    After 3 days I leave Kathmandu behind me. First I was in Bandipur for some days and then Pokhara, still underway with a driver. In Pokhara I did my first Paragliding experience and it was nice and I got a new tattoo.
    One night I stay in a Tibetian village (Homestay) that was so interesting. You have to do it in Nepal!    Les mer

    Back in Pokhara for trekking.

    After Chitwan i returned in Kathmandu, from there I choice to go back to Pokhara and start trekking. First step was Poon Hill. I carried all my stuff (20 kilo) with me in the mountains. I met underway a lot nice people and with one guy (Sébastien from France) I was trekking till the end. The first day was really hard but I did it and I accepted the challenge.Les mer

    Next stop Mardi Himal!

    From Poon Hill to Mardi Himal base Camp.

    Poon Hill was ok but we want more, so was the next step for us Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m).
    The way was harder as the way to Poon Hill but more beautiful, 3 days, endless steps, crazy heat, snow and 2 stops later we reached Mardi Himal. That was a great feeling!
    The Himalaya is such a great and peaceful place.    Les mer

    The days after trekking.

    I had 8 days left in Nepal, in this days I did nothing special. Just chilling in Pokhara (6 days) and Kathmandu (2 days). It was a nice time I met so many interesting people from all over the world and had a lot of interesting conversations.
    So I have not much pictures from this days.

    After 30 days I left Nepal behind me and the next country is Thailand.

    For the time in Thailand I don’t travel alone, I met here a friend from Germany.
    Arrived in Bangkok I left the city 7 hours, but I think I will come back for a little bit sighting.

    The last time I write here something was one day before Fullmoon party. After this it was party everyday, really good party’s with nice locations.
    A lot of nice people, good beer and better music.
    Normally to much party for me I guess but this time it was ok, but now is resting the only thing I do.

    From Kho Pha-ngan we took a speedboat to Kho Samui and stand there for 2 days.
    Good timing for fix my phone because it was broken.    Les mer

    Days in Ko Tao

    What a time in Ko Tao!

    The island is really beautiful with a lot nice places.
    I think I was there for 9 days and it feels like everyday was a party. At the daytime I was the most of the time in a cold room or on the Beach.
    Onetime I was snorkeling and I saw for the first time in my life some big Turtles swimming with me.
    But now it’s time to say goodbye, the next stop is Chiangmai! 🙏🏾    Les mer

    From Ko Tao to Bangkok for one night and then to Chiangmai.

    It was a lot of Bus driving in this two days before I arrived Chiangmai. I really like the city and I met a lot of new people. The first day i was in a big waterpark with some people from my hostel, this day was so fun. It’s crazy how much fun you can have with people you know not longer then 12 hours.
    The other days I do not so much just a bit sighting and going out with my mates.

    (Chiangmai really good place for vegan food, finally more vegan for me that’s great!)    Les mer

    The first thing I can say it was one of the best times I had since I leave Germany behind me.
    Pai is such a beautiful place I wish i can stay longer but this was not the plan.

    It was good to see people again from earlier in Thailand and two guys from Nepal too, the world still feels small.
    The most time I spend with Mark and Molly, a really good time I can tell you.
    The last night in Pai was my birthday so we go out and drink allot. The next day was the last time i saw Mark so this is the end of our journey.

    The next chapter is Laos and I am really exited to see new places. 🇱🇦
    Thailand at all was a great time and I am happy to decide to come.

    Luang Prabang

    The first big stop in Laos was Luang Prabang, but before I tell something about the time there I have to talk about the way from the border.

    I arrived the 10.June in Laos (Houayxay) it was already dark outside and I was tired because the last night in Thailand was one of the worst ever.
    So I was searching a guesthouse with two other guys from the bus. After some minutes we fond one and booked a room for one day.
    Not the best room but ok, feels like I was the first tourist in 3 years. Maybe I was because Laos was closed for a long time because of Covid.
    The next day after I woke up I thought about what I can you, i had no idea so I just walked to the next bus station (8km walk) and decide to take the next bus that’s coming (doesn’t matter where the bus go)
    I bought a ticket for the bus to Luang Prabang, I had no idea what’s going on there but that was ok for me. 12 hours later I arrived in the middle of the night, first I want to sleep on the street but after asking some people I found a place in a guesthouse on the floor.
    For the next 3 nights I booked a hostel and the time there was really good, i really love it to be in a hostel. A lot of nice people, free breakfast and a pool table is all what I need 😂
    Five days before the hostel was closed but now it’s full, I am happy for the owner.

    After the first day in the hostel the next day I was with a big group of people at a waterfall. I think the best waterfall I ever saw (you can see that on the photos).🌿
    The rest of the time I was hanging out in Cafes, at the night market or in a bar.
    Thanks to two Chinese dudes for giving me a lot of alcohol and cigarettes. 🍻    Les mer

    Vang Vieng

    The next stop in Laos was Vang Vieng.

    What a beautiful place, one of the best landscape I saw in my life!
    One day I had a flight with an air balloon, that was my first time and it was amazing. The highest point we reach with the balloon was 700m, what a view over the village!

    Laos feels still really empty, in the Hostel I stand weren’t many people, but I was not alone.
    I really hope more people come to that beautiful country.
    The owner from the hostel is a really nice guy and helps with everything you need. His two dogs are so sweet and following the guest everywhere in the Bar, the Club or in a restaurant.

    Vang Vieng is really chill it feels a bit like Pai 2.0.
    The one viewpoint was amazing I never see something like that! Not the favorite viewpoint on this trip but a really good one.
    There a also many lagoons for swimming, that really helps against the heat. I have no idea how it feels when I am not sweating. :D

    Just a quick stop, not much to say about it.
    Not the biggest fan of city’s and that one was a kind of boring, but for 2 days good and the pizza was amazing.
    My hostel had a pool - game changer!

    Now I go more in the south and slowly to Cambodia in the next two weeks I guess.
    We will see what happens.

    Last days in Laos

    The time in Laos is over tomorrow.
    A bit faster then I was thinking but i want to go to Cambodia now. So it’s a good goodbye and it was a nice time again!
    The last 3 days I spend in Thakhek and I did a scooter loop there.
    It’s was really fun and a crazy feeling of freedom.
    Btw. I hate chicken now but not so many informations about that. 😂

    On one photo you can see me with some monks, it’s always nice to talk with Monks. I am in a groupchat now with this guys that’s really funny.

    So I think that’s all for the moment. I am really a fan of the nature here and the people.
    Not a fan of the bus rides but it can be fun.

    Big love for Laos but it’s leaving time now.

    Siem Reap/ Angkor Wat

    Just 24 hours but really good 24 hours!

    Yesterday i crossed the border from Laos to Cambodia, and then nearly direct from the next city to Siem Reap. First hitchhiking experience are really good here, the guy (police officer) brings us (me and a Irish girl) the whole way.
    What a man!!

    Angkor Wat is such a beautiful place, it was a plassure to meet that place. It’s so Interesting to see a place like this. I think that’s a good place for a return one day in my life.
    Now I am in a night bus to the south and to the Islands. I can’t wait to jump in the ocean again, it’s so hot in Cambodia.

    Not much to say about the last days.
    It was crazy hot and I did nearly nothing, just hanging around,swim, eat, drink and talk to people.
    I mean the island is nice but not much to do there, it’s ok for 3 days.
    The highlight was cleaning the beach for a free beer. Win win situation! #savetheplanet !🌿

    And it’s day 100 of the journey, man what a crazy time. So many different places, different feelings, a lot new people and much more!
    Looking forward to every new adventure that’s coming for me.

    Man I am really lazy the last days.
    Today I was driving a scooter the first time since Laos, the weather was not so nice but I did something.
    The last 3 days I was in a hostel with a own waterpark that was really fun.
    I was falling inlove with the slide there (you can see the videos).
    Really nice and chill Hostel and Water is all the time good when it’s so hot outside.
    Tomorrow I go to Phnom Penh and I think that’s my last stop in Cambodia before I go to Vietnam.
    Maybe I do there some more? We will see what happens!
    Btw. Cambodia is really expensive for Asia I hope Vietnam is cheaper again.    Les mer

    3 Nights in the capital city.
    Phnom Penh is a really interesting City I learned a lot about the history of Cambodia.
    If you go to Phnom Penh then you have to go to the Killingfields and the Genocide Museum, it’s shocking but good to know!

    The hostel (mad monkey) was really good and a lot of fun, Many nice people, drinking games, going out in a club and just enjoy the night.
    Hostel lifestyle is the best lifestyle!

    Today I take a Bus to Vietnam, it was a short time again in Cambodia but I am fine with that. I am really excited to go to Vietnam.    Les mer

    Vietnam here we go!

    I have just 14 days in Vietnam normally I want one month, stupid me put the wrong border place at the visa. So i have to „rush“ a bit because I got a flight at the 23.07 in Hanoi.
    Ok let’s not focus on that i think 14 days can be enough for some nice places.

    The first two days I spend in Ho-Chi-Minh City, I just walked around and visited some churches. I really miss churches, I am not religion but a big fan of the architecture!
    Oh and I saw some Vans stores, always a good place for shopping.
    The city is really nice, but now I go back to the beach for some days and work my way up in the north slowly.

    I am exited for the next days in Vietnam.    Les mer

    Mui Ne and Da Lat

    There is not much to say about Mui Ne, so just some picture and that’s it!

    But I can say something about Da Lat, first of all it’s in the mountain so perfect for a Hoodie the most of the time.
    Da lat is one of my favorite places, that’s the reason I extended the hostel more then one time!
    The city is really nice and here is a lot stuff to see!
    I was climbing in a canyon that was so fun, I never did it before but I think I will do it again somewhere else. Yesterday I visited the crazy house and it’s really crazy you can see that at the pictures.
    Here in Da Lat is a Bar with a maze, that’s funny when you are drunk and you can’t find the right way.
    The hostel (tigon hostel) is great, the view is beautiful and the people here are really nice.

    Tomorrow I got a flight to Hanoi, let’s see what’s going on in the capital city!    Les mer

    Just one day in Hanoi, it’s way to hot here.
    I leave for some days before I have to come back for my flight to Singapore.
    The most time I tried not to die in the heat. The city is ok, the train street is nice and I got a good pizza.

    After way to hot days in Hanoi, I finally got a colder place for staying. It’s really beautiful here, but not so much to do. So I will go back to Hanoi tomorrow for two night before I fly to Singapore.

    I visited the biggest mountain in Vietnam with a cable car, it was quite expensive (28 euro) and the weather up there was not the best. But I can say I was there and I got some good photos I think.

    I was driving a scooter again, the first time after Laos. It was really fun cruising in this beautiful landscape.    Les mer
