After the amazing Mass, I bumped into four of the most inspiring and friendly people (and 4 pooches) I met on the #caminosantiago Roman Stepanenko and Irina from Ukraine and Nicole and Dick from Holland. Gee there are some good people in the world!

I was lucky to witness the full mass in the unbelievably ornate but fabulous Cathedral. Eight priests launched the Botafumiere (incense burner) allowing it to swing in a 30-metre ceiling to ceiling arc. What a sight for the hundreds of pilgrims who filled the pews and aisles. TravelerCongratulations. It would have been a very moving church service given your achievement Though I suspect the incense was more about all those smelly pilgrims than any religious significance.😊 where are you going next?

TravelerThe botafumeiro swinging whilst the organ plays is absolute Disneyland for me. Hopefully you have time for the rooftop tour. Tickets are bought in the cathedral museum. Doesn’t much matter of you get the tour in Spanish.
