Shopping & Dining in KL

We enjoyed a sleep in and late start to the day. Most of the day was spent at The Exchange TRX; KL’s sparkling new shopping complex not far from the hotel.
We had some decent coffee at Eight Ounce Coffee Co before hitting the shops (open 10am - 10pm). Brunch was at Jiphine Scones for some traditional baked Chinese scones I’ve never heard of these but they were freshly made with a generous amount of meat in each.
A few more hours of shopping until 3pm, and then we went back to the hotel to drop bags off, do a load of washing and freshen up for our next meal!

We had dinner at Table and Apron; recommended by our friends in Singapore and awarded as one of Malaysia’s top 20 restaurants in 2021. It was pretty easy to reserve a table online, and Grab cost us about $20 for the 40 minute trip to get here (it took twice as long with traffic during peak time). We received great service and delicious food, plus great value for an awarded restaurant. A nice message was included on the plate of our dessert. Would happily come back here again😋Read more
