We had a much earlier start to the day with a day tour to Malacca. The tour guide collected us from the hotel around 8am and we reached Malacca soon after 10.30am.
We spent the first part of the tour learning about the history of Malacca. This included visits to St Peter’s Chuch (the oldest functioning Roman Catholic church in Malaysia), the famous fort built by the Portuguese, Church of St Paul, St Paul’s Hill and Dutch Square.
After our group lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, we were given some free time to stroll along Jonker St (with many shops selling antiques, textiles and handicrafts), and Malacca River. It was nice way to finish off a long and hot day.
The roads were much busier on our way back to KL, but we managed to reach our hotel around 7pm and went to Lot 10 Hutong for dinner again. Afterwards we discovered some more shops nearby AND the Pavillion shopping mall 😍
We finished the evening with some late night shopping and bingsu for dessert (back to MMM by Lesim)!Lue lisää
