Last day in Singapore

Today is our last day in Singapore, but thankfully we have most of the day at our leisure before the evening flight.
We enjoyed our last buffet breakfast downstairs before meeting up with friends (from dinner last night) at Gardens by the Bay. We got tickets to the cloud forest which is currently featuring a ‘Jurassic world experience’. We really enjoyed the gardens when in Singapore last year; it’s one of my favourite places to visit here that isn’t a shopping mall 😅
I can’t remember the last time I saw a Jurassic park/world movie, but this immersive event incorporates the Jurassic film franchise really well. Seeing the life-sized animatronic dinosaurs are surrounded by lush greenery and misty waterfalls transported us back to when they ruled the Earth.

We returned to the hotel about 1pm to freshen up and finish packing. Thankfully we were able to negotiate a late checkout of 3pm, and visit the lounge for afternoon tea 😋

Benson (yes the same driver that collected us at arrival last week) took us to airport and we arrived with plenty of time to spare. I even time to visit another terminal for some duty free shopping prior to boarding at 7.30pm 🛍️ ✈️

We arrived in Sydney early the next morning, and the Murray’s coach returned us safely home.Meer informatie
